Client Testimonials
Face to Face exists to support and serve over 600 men, women, and children living with HIV in Sonoma County. We frequently receive notes of gratitude from our clients, and would like to pass them along to our donors, supporters, and volunteers who make all of this work possible. We hope that you are just as inspired by these notes of gratitude as we are!

"To all at Face to Face,
I came to Face to Face afraid, confused, unsure of what Face to Face could do to help me through the grueling appeals process for SSDI (disability income.) My struggle had been long hard and had taken a toll on me both physically and mentally. I was mentally paralyzed. Heather's kind, gentle nudging saw me through a year and a half process that would never had been accomplished had she not been there guiding me. When I was absolutely sure that I had "put too much on the table" she would smile, provide a comforting thought and move on to the next thing we had to get through. Bless her for being such an angel.
During my appeal process I became homeless and Robert came to my aid. In order for me to be helped by Face to Face some fundamental changes needed to occur in my life. Robert's whimsically candid approach to difficult subjects always brought me back into focus, chuckling all the while. I can’t' say enough about Robert. He single handedly convinced me to trust Face to Face staff and that was no easy task. My biggest fear was that Face to Face would take me so far, and then drop the ball and leave me abandoned on the street. It was a hard wall to break through but they did it. Thank you!
After months of not knowing what would happen and worrying about what's going to happen, I'm happy to say that I've won the appeal for SSDI, and yesterday I signed a lease for an apartment that I can call my own for the first time in nearly 20 years. Thank you so much for sticking by me while these life altering changes have been occurring. I've been blessed to have such compassionate, kind people helping me put my life back together. Face to Face Rocks!
Thank you all!"
