A special portrait exhibit of our Face to Face "family" who have modeled thoughtful, heartfelt, and personal uniqueness in giving.

As we pondered how best to celebrate our 20th anniversary, we thought of all the people who have given, directly or indirectly, to the clinets of Face to Face. Brought to Light was created as a tribute to all our volunteers past and present.

Over the course of 20 years, thousands of volunteers have stepped foward in response to this epidemic. We have witnessed as extraordinary array of talentand skills brought forth by individiuals who, in their caring, found ways to give that would melt even as iron heart.

Richard Avedon had said, " A portrait is not a likeness. The moment an emotion of face is transformed into a photograph, is is not longer a fact but an option There is no such things as inaccracy in photography. All photographs are accurate. None of them is the truth."

"The people who work within the AIDS epidemic are very high-caliber, loving, compassionate and dedicated people. And I wanted to use my skills to support their work. I thought that was the best way I could contribute," Frances said.

We invite you to view these portraits and decide, thought the eyes of the beholder, what lies beneath the photographic imgages of these wonderful folks.
